SSA was proud to collaborate on the EA Sports Orlando Headquarters providing delegated design and detailing of the stacked tilt-up panels.

SSA participated in the First State Crossing warehouse project by acting as the structural engineer of record and tilt-up panel specialty engineer to provide a full design and detailing package.

SSA was excited to act as the structural engineer of record for the newly opened KIPP Miami North Campus charter school.

SSA worked in step with the general contractor and engineer of record to provide a full tilt-up panel delegated engineering package for the Cocoa Beach Fire Station.

Joe Steinbicker co-authored the “Engineering Tilt-Up” manual for Tilt-up Concrete Association (TCA). This manual contains basic engineering principles and code interpretation as well as in depth analysis of a tilt-up structure and its components.

Jon Schuchmann recently prepared an article for Modern Contractor Solutions Magazine highlighting the use of Tilt-Werks for the design of the tilt-up panels for Jostens Center at Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex.

St. Johns County Air Traffic Control Tower received a 2005 Tilt-Up Achievement Award in the Special Projects Division. The award was presented by the Tilt-Up Concrete Association at the World of Concrete Convention in January.

Joe Steinbicker recently collaborated on an article in Concrete Construction Magazine titled Tilting It Up about panel erection, rigging and bracing. Check it out in the July 2003 issue.

The June 2003 edition of Structure Magazine features a guest column titled Tilt-Up Seismic Design written by Mark Remmetter.

After many years as a Charter Member of the TCA, Joe Steinbicker was elected to the Board of Directors at the annual meeting in Phoenix, Arizona in April of 2003.

We were recently featured in the newest issue of Florida Construction Review, for our participation in the Eastern “U” Cargo Complex at Miami International Airport. We were also involved in the Lightspeed Miami Center project, also featured in the Florida Construction Review.
